Holy Week at Corpus Christi

Palm Sunday of the Lord’s Passion
Saturday, April 1 – Vigil Mass Mass at 5 pm, beginning in Marian Hall with a procession into the church.
Sunday, April 2 – 8:30 am Mass (live streamed); 11:00 am Mass, and 12:30 pm Mass in Polish
Holy Thursday
Thursday, April 6 – Morning Prayer at 9 am. Mass of the Lord’s Supper at 7 pm (live streamed). This begins the celebration of the great Three Days, the Triduum. We hear John’s account of the Last Supper, we witness the washing of feet and then partake in the last celebration of the Eucharist until the Easter Vigil. Adoration follows until midnight.

Good Friday of the Lord’s Passion
Friday, April 7 – Morning Prayer at 9 am. Stations of the Cross at 3 pm. Divine Mercy Novena begins today at 6:30 pm. Celebration of the Passion of the Lord at 7 pm (live streamed). The Triduum celebration continues in today’s three part liturgy: a proclamation of the Word culminating in the Passion according to John, the Veneration of the Cross and in the reception of Communion consecrated on Holy Thursday.
Holy Saturday
Saturday, April 8 – Morning Prayer at 9 am. Blessing of Easter Food Baskets at *11 am, 12 noon, 1 pm – all in both English and Polish. *Easter Egg Hunt after 11 am Easter Basket Blessing. (Bring a basket or bag for all the eggs your children will find)

Divine Mercy Novena at 7:30 pm. The Easter Vigil begins at 8 pm. The final part of the Triduum Liturgy begins in darkness; the Easter fire is ignited, the Easter candle is lit and all present light a candle from this one flame representing the Risen Christ; and the Church once again takes up the retelling of the history of salvation; the Alleluia is resurrected; those who have been preparing for baptism and confirmation are received into the Church, and we celebrate the love of God for us in the Eucharistic feast.

Easter Sunday: The Resurrection of the Lord
Sunday, April 9 – Masses at 8:30 am (live streamed) and 11 am; 12:30 pm in Polish.

There are no Daily Masses on Holy Thursday, Good Friday, or Holy Saturday.

The Parish Office is closed on Good Friday and Easter Monday.
