Way to Go! On October 30, Fr. Mark and two dozen parishioners/friends of our parish represented Corpus Christi Catholic Church in the annual Independence Run at Montrose Harbor, Chicago. About 1,700 runners – adults and children – ran either 10K, 5K or walked 5K at this family friendly celebration. Congratulations to our 16-year-old parishioner, Helen Jankowski, the fastest female who came in First Place for the 10K with a time of 42min4sec! Fr. Mark was just behind her with a time of 1hr5min53sec – 264th overall. Your generous sponsorship of Fr. Mark’s 10K Run for next year’s Youth Ministry Mission Trip totaled $1,530!
