On Sunday, June 2, the Church celebrates the liturgical Feast of Corpus Christi, also known as the Solemnity of the Most Holy Body and Blood of Christ. This is also our church’s namesake feast day.
Beginning Monday, June 3, we invite you, your family and friends to a week-long special celebration of the Octave of Corpus Christi in this year of the National Eucharistic Revival. Each evening, we encourage you to attend at least one or more of the Eucharistic Processions at our nearby churches. See the list below for all the churches that are participating within our deanery.
Sunday, June 9, Bishop Ronald Hicks will conclude the Octave of Corpus Christi at our 10 am Mass, which will be in English and Polish. After the Mass, join in the festive Eucharistic Procession led by the bishop, followed by the Taste of Corpus Christi picnic, live entertainment by Richie Shep, a bounce house, games for the kids and much more.
- All children, especially First Communicants, are invited to participate in the Eucharistic procession on Sunday, June 9 by spreading flower petals along the procession route. Please sign up in the narthex.
- For the Taste of Corpus Christi, we invite you to share your favorite ethnic family dish. Sign up in the narthex after Mass or contact the Parish Office.
